Birthday Time

My birthday has been a nice one. I decided to have a sleep in this morning instead of having a pancake breakfast (more like my alarm didn't go off).

Went to an appointment then headed off for lunch with my Gran at Sizzler. On the way to lunch I found out some really great news, Lincraft is opening up at Toombul (a local shopping centre). No more long trips to get supplies, cant wait.

I also had a really nice surprise this afternoon from my brother Uri. Uri is living in Canada, so its not very often that we hear from him but to my surprise I got an E-Card from him.

I also got Birthday wishes from My Nana and Pop in NZ and Great Auntie Gwen from England.

Crochet Cushions

Inspired by the Daybed that we will be buying shortly I wanted to try out making cushions. I am very happy with the results. My Slate Blue cushion with the star pattern in it has turned out wonderful, it took a long time to make but I feel it was worth it (Think I might have to make myself one of these). New Product - Headbands

In an effort to expand the range of products I have on offer at Imagination In Flight and to keep me going creatively, I have started making these great headbands. They can be worn either one or a couple grouped together as a headband or hair elastic. I have really enjoyed making these, so will be coming.

As I will be loosing my little assistant back to school on Tuesday, I will be busy photographing all the new items I have for the shop tomorrow. So stay tuned to the shop for some great new treasures.

Redcliffe Jetty Market

Last weekend we took Imagination In Flight on the road to the Redcliffe Jetty Markets. Althought it was not as successful as we would have liked it was great to try out the setup. Hopefully it wont be to long till our next market.
