I always go to my family. This year I'm going to my Uncles & Aunties. We take lots of presents for everyone, my whole family will be there.

Sitting around the Xmas tree unwrapping presents with my family after breakfast. Other great Christmas traditions for me include my mum making her annual trifle and scrumptious cheesecake for dessert.

i kind of hate christmas (and all holidays!) though i do love the lights. i usually make a point of taking lots of night time walks around christmas to look at everyone's decorated houses.

Christmas morning is always my favourite time. My family has a tradition of opening most of our presents on Boxing Day, so on Christmas morning we all just pick one present to open (this is usually pretty funny because we have to explain why we're picking that particular present over the other ones), and then have a nice breakfast. It's just a nice, relaxed family time for us and I love it.

Christmas is really the only time that I get to see all or a section of my enormous family, it has been a bit of an unsaid tradition that everyone converge on my mums place for Christmas I think it is because of the food lol

Hi Jess.
Love putting up the Christmas Tree and placing all the lovely sentimental little trinkets upon it. Many of which have been with us for years and represent lots of different and special things. Such *joy*.

We have a Christmas present treasure hunt for all the children in the family on Christmas morning. Santa has hidden one present for each child and left a clue on a card under the Christmas Tree. The children love it and it always brings laughter and fun to the start of this special day!

As kids we would always have family over for Christmas and all the cousins would make a big Christmas bed in our lounge... right by the Christmas tree, with our Christmas stockings in a row at the bottom of the bed. The Christmas tree lights would always stay on until we were all fast asleep.I remember a lot of giggling and trying to stay awake to see if we could get a glimpse of Santa!(Which probably really frustrated our parents who were waiting for us to go to sleep, so they could fill our stockings). Those are such wonderful memories and a tradition that I have passed onto my own kids!

I like singing carols. I like the music of Christmas very much, it's very uplifting. I live in Japan where December 25th is just another day, but Christmas songs are always piped in the shops and shopping centres in December. I can be seen and heard out and about singing to myself at this time ;-)

my family always spends the night at my mom and step-dads house on christmas eve (which is a lot considering there are 8 kids) and weg et up early and open presents and spend the morning together, and around noon we head over to my grandpas for our extended family christmas where we eat lunch and play white elephant and just catch up.

Our family tradition was now for years that we go away for Christmas because we don't want to decide with which part of the family we celebrate Christmas. So there are no conflicts.=)

Following your blog now ; )

My favorite family tradition in my family is that every christmas eve everyone in the family gets a new set of PJs to wear that night. I love pjs and being comfy and its so nice to have a new set for christmas morning, especially when the whole family is going to see you in them!

One other is that every thanksgiving we all get a new christmas movie to start getting us in the holiday spirit!
